Alba was my vet school spay dog and a true unicorn in personality. I acquired her from Philadelphia Animal Control (ACCT) when she was 9 months old. Although I didn't intend to take a dog from a shelter, or a bully breed, her solid temperament and love of training had me hooked as soon as she became my foster. She didn't love trialing so she became my husband's best buddy and my perfect neutral dog for students as well as an awesome hiking companion. She could and did go anywhere--on a plane, to the city, to the country, and existed peacefully in any group of dogs, cats, or people. Her favorite activities were swimming, playing "fetch ball", and using her electric blanket in cold weather.
