Alba is an American Staffordshire Terrier that I acquired from Philadelphia Animal Control (ACCT) when she was 9 months old. Although I didn't intend to take a dog from a shelter, or a bully breed, her solid temperament and love of training had me hooked as soon as she became my foster. An extremely soft dog, we are working on building her confidence and ball drive to help her work in unfamiliar environments. Despite her stress, she always tries hard and has competed successfully in agility, obedience, and AKC coursing tests. She has fairly strong prey drive and loves to chase the lure.

Her favorite activities include swimming, playing ball, and using her electric blanket in cold weather.
